Ever woke up and thought to yourself, I want to speak French? Because of my weird dream the night before, I woke up wanting to learn French. I was chilling in France. I couldn’t ask anyone for directions home because I only knew English! I think I called his dad a donkey. Basically the whole point of that story was that now I wanted to learn French. So I want to know, how hard is it to learn a new language?

The older you are, the harder it is to learn. Whenever you are young, your brain activity is very high. Children have the ability to learn languages very fast because their brain activity is so high. I found that the best learn to speak language programs include audio, video and reading lesson. This way the lessons aren’t boring, easy to follow and are easier to remember. You are also able to play games to review on some of these programs, this definitely helps.

One of the most comprehensive at home, learn to speak a language programs on the market is Rocket French by Marie-Claire Riviere. You are able to access the lessons anywhere on a computer. The lessons are very easy to follow and feature an actual French native. This way you get proper dialect and current terms, instead of old words that they don’t use anymore.
