Michael are you still learning spanish, how are you doing now?
I just started 4 days ago with Rosetta stone, and using a few sources that you mentioned. I love the podcasts by Ben and Marina (notesinspanish). I am very quickly building up my vocabulary, even spanish words come into my dreams now hahha. I started back in 2006 but had so much work and college to do, now i have lots of free time I spend 4-5 hours a day learning spanish. I love it and am excited to learn more everyday!

Ye is it not weird, i agree i have been speaking spanish in my dreams, though i listen to pimsleur before i go to bed so its a big influence on that.

Heres a tip here for anyone whos cares if you want to learn anything in my case a language, listen, read, watch whatever it is you learn from before you go to bed and your brain will process this whilst sleeping, in the morning it confirms it and will stick in your mind. this is proven fact. Hope that helps anyone like it does me.

I seen research before and just re read it that even if you can’t recall words after you spent time learinng them, once you sleep you can ‘recover’ those memories and you just ‘know it’ by the next day. This seems to be true for me. Sometimes after i spend a few hours I might forget things, then have a good sleep and wake up knowing the words again. amazing.

For 2 years and 4 months: Better “desde” than “durante”
September 3rd, 2009 at 10:38 am
That’s not bad at all for 33 days!

Ignore the offensive comments, of course you make some mistakes, but that is to be expected, one month is such a short time after all.
I hope you kept on learning, your pronounciation is actually quite good for an english speaker!
Good luck!

not bad, but your pronounciation is really rocky. like when you said i live… it sounded like I DRINK IN.
but i could understand what you where saying, and i’m Bilingual, i speak English and Spanish.
