Obama; Americans Learn Spanish! I’m Embarrassed
Obama is telling us that we need to learn other languages. He’s embarrassed for us. I for one could care less what Barack Obama thinks; I’m doing perfectly well only speaking one language. I’m getting tired of this man looking down his nose at me. How do you say, “I wanna cut his nuts off” in Spanish? i half agree with you. I’m mexican/american and i resent the lazy part, although, i am fluent in both spanish and english and i agree that americans are really stubborn when it comes to this type of thing. I think that a spanish class (or german, or whatever) should be a requirement to graduate high school

The very fact that most of us can’t speak two languages saddens me, too. He’s little harsh with his words, Obama he is. If we all tightened our belts, sucked our pride in, and acquired the foresight to learn (gasp) a language other than our own, most all of the conflicts generated by mis-communication would be almost non-existent. What’s wrong with knowing we could order a pizza in France, Costa Rica, or Russia?

The first thing, I´m mexican and I´m learning English, why? because I want it, maybe I don´t do it very well, but I try, in almost countries in the world the English is teaching in the school and nobody make a revolution for that, the second thing if you want that USA only speak English so you must to leave to name it AMERICA because AMERICA IS A CONTINENT not a country, and americans are all the people in it
