Spanish in San Jose

It’s easier to learn Spanish in San Jose than many other US cities because there are so many native Spanish speakers in the city and in the areas surrounding the city. This makes it easy to find the chance to practise, however you decide to learn Spanish in San Jose, try to find yourself a native speaking conversation partner.

Having the ability to speak Spanish, even to an elementary level, will help you compete in the very competitive San Jose job market, where Spanish is increasingly requested as a skill by employees.

If you don’t yet know San Jose well, San Jose is a huge city – the third largest in California, and the 10th largest in the whole of the USA. It’s located at the Southern end of the San Francisco Bay Area – the region known as Silicon Valley (often called ‘The Capital of Silicon Valley). It’s a very exciting city to live and to learn a new language in.
